Terms of Service

IPAtics is a desktop application and web service that provides instant IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) transcription for selected text via a global hotkey. The service includes text-to-speech audio generation, word saving, Anki flashcard export, and related language learning features.

You may use limited features as a guest without an account. To access full features and premium plans, you must register with a valid email address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

The free plan includes 10 daily transcriptions, 20-character text limit, 20 saved words, and 5 total Anki card exports.

Premium plans (monthly, yearly) unlock unlimited transcriptions, extended text limits, unlimited word saving, and unlimited Anki exports. Plan details and pricing are shown on the pricing page and within the application.

Payments in Turkish Lira (TRY) are processed by iyzico Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. International payments (USD/EUR) are processed by Lemon Squeezy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not used premium features. After this period, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

You may use IPAtics for personal, educational, and professional language learning purposes.

You may not: reverse engineer or decompile the application; use automated scripts to bypass rate limits or usage quotas; redistribute the application without authorization; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

IPAtics, its logo, UI design, and code are owned by DenkLabs. IPA transcription data is generated by third-party AI models and is provided as-is.

Your saved words and exported flashcards are your property.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The transcription service depends on external AI providers and may experience temporary outages.

IPA transcriptions are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. IPAtics is a learning tool, not a reference-grade linguistic resource.

You may delete your account at any time from within the application or by contacting [email protected]. Account deletion removes your personal data within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where feasible.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DenkLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of IPAtics.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts and consumer arbitration committees of Istanbul.

For EU residents, nothing in these terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

We may update these terms when product features, legal requirements, or platform policies change. We will notify active users via email for material changes. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
